I'm very satisfied with these, had them for almost 2 months and no problems. Glad I bought them early, because I only paid $134.99 (after a $22.00 discount) from Amazon, now they're charging $237 for them. They clean very easy, no scrub needed, even if you let the food sit in them overnight. No major scratches, if you take care of them they'll be fine. The covers are great, I like the glass, nice to see how the food is cooking without having to lift the lid. The cover handles are a lil awkward, not allowing you to stack the covers on top of each other. And if you don't hold the cover handles exactly on the plastic grips the medal part gets hot, but those are minor issues. Overall a very good product and so happy I was able to throw my el-cheapo pots away. Hope to have these for years to come.

Great cookware - doesn't last : Anolon Professional Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set

My touch mirrors that of "Bluekitten." In less than three years, a consolidate pieces (the most heavily used) began to totally lose their nonstick ability, even after specific adherence to cleaning/use guidelines. I fancy it was from heat: The pieces that fail have been used periodically with up to, oh, 75 percent heat on my gas range (Never full), and they were the ones to fail.

Unlike one old reviewer, I found Anolon's customer aid to be fine. I had no issue seeing their address, and recently shipped one piece back for warranty service. Anolon substituted it with a comparable piece from the new "Advanced" line, as I fancy they're not making this line anymore.

All things considered, it's nice cookware, but seems very sensitive to excess heat. If you're a sick person cook who can happily wait for the pan to get to cooking temp at half-blast or less (it will, in time), this set would be fine for you.

I also found the pans to stain and discolor very fast on the outside. Given that, if I was shopping for a new set today, I'd go with the advanced series -- which has nonstick coating inside And out, likely prolonging the nice look of the cookware.
